Genevieve Providence.
Genevieve Providence is a genetic mishap that occurs only every one thousand years in each family bloodline. Unlike most genetic problems, the signs for this are not shown for quite some time and the parents may not even know that they are the carriers. The cycle is very rare and even if you do show signs you are most likely not to be affected on a high emotional level, especially if the disorder happened within your adult years.
This disorder first occurred within a ten year old girl, named Annie Waltz in 1413 London. Over time, the girl's eyes had become a bright pink. The parents thought the girl had been poisoned and had gone to their priest after noticing the odd eyes. The priest then told the parents about a legend. How there was a god named Genevieve and once every one thousand years the children from each family's bloodline would be infected. The god had been angered by the humans' unappreciation towards her creation of pests, such as rodents and insects. So, she let out a disorder in place of her anger to punish the human race.
What exactly happens? Behavior disorders? Common characteristics?
- Infertility. When you are affected on a large scale you are completely infertile, meaning you are unable to reproduce. Males and females are both affected. If there were some chance that you were fertile, it would always end as miscarriages and stillborns would be the product.
- High suicide rates. Those with the disorder are more likely to have suicidal thoughts. Females have 70% more thoughts than an uninfected female and males have 80% more thoughts than an uninfected male.
- Multi-colored and red eyes. The female carrier will have hazel eyes, and as they progress towards age ten they start to dull and eventually become a bright pink. Over time, they darken to a deep, blood-red color. Males will have mismatched eye colors, varying from blue, red, golden, or a rustic bronze.
- Hair. The typical hair on the top of a carrier's head takes very long to grow. While it may take the uninfected a month to grow an inch of hair, it would take the infected a year to grow an inch of hair. Hair on legs/underarms/ect will grow normally and take regular shaving such as the uninfected.
- Puberty. Puberty hits the middle of teenage years. Usually age sixteen or age seventeen. Once those infected have hit puberty, there is a 30% probability that they will become more curious with different sexualities and become frustrated or sexually confused.
- Markings. As the infected progress towards puberty they will develop a marking on their hip that resembles a dripping pawprint. The secondary color for markings of the carrier will always be a neutral color, meaning anywhere between white, grey, and black.
- Build. Fairly short and maintaining weight, both male and female characters will never get past the height of 5'7". The average weight for the infected is anywhere between 115 pounds to 155 pounds, depending on height.
- Disabilities. Those infected have a 10% more probability of becoming blind, deaf, or handicapped by age 60.
- Depression and anxieties. Females have 40% more chance those those uninfected to develop a mental illness, while males only have a 10% chance.
